At High Gate Farm, we understand that your horse is like a family member to you... we also feel that way, and strive to keep them healthy, happy, and in top condition. Our
feed Manager and instructor, Kim Elsmore, lives on the premises for greater piece of mind. We offer daily turn-out, clean, freshly bedded stalls 365 days per year, and three meals a day.
Our hay is bought, in bulk, by the trailer load and tested during various intervals to make certain it offers the proper nutritional value to your horse, as well, we offer the finest quality and service of Purina Feeds, working closely with their nutritionist to ensure the proper feed and hay combinations. Your horse is as individual as you and I, for this reason, we provide four different types of feed or combinations thereof for proper nutrition and weight control.
Our Farm de-worms on a rotational basis, at least six times yearly, we offer annual shots clinics, teeth floating bi-annually, and a farrier is on the premises at least once weekly (additional cost).
Our Veterinarian and Farrier are on call 24 hours a day.
